Pipes and Tubes: Overview
Pipe and Tube products are made seamless or welded. Welded pipes are made from coils or plates with longitudinal or helical / spiral welding. Seamless pipes manufacturing starts by piercing a billet or bloom to generate a hollow. The rolling of the billet is done longitudinally and at the same time forcing it onto a piercing bar called a mandrell.
