Navigating the EU’s Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism Together
In January 1, 2026, the European Union implemented the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), introducing a CO₂ import levy on certain goods entering the EU. 2026 will serve as a transitional year, during which companies must begin aligning their processes while full financial obligations gradually take effect.
